Pamela Beck founded Beck Educational Consulting after spending 10 years working as a special education advocate and representative for families across Long Island and Brooklyn. She has sat in countless meetings, read thousands of pages of school records, and helped families through the parts of the system that tend to break down, evaluations that drag on, IEP meetings that feel one sided, services that get listed but not delivered, and plans that do not match what the child needs.
Pamela’s approach is calm, direct, and detail focused. She prepares families before meetings, helps them understand what the school is proposing, and makes sure the conversation stays grounded in real supports. She also helps families follow up after meetings, because an IEP is only useful if it becomes real services, on a real schedule, with real progress tracking.
